Lucas County Pit Crew | Pit Bull Adoption and Dog Rescue

The Lucas County Pit Crew supports responsible guardians of Pit Bull type dogs in our community through education, advocacy, training assistance, spay/neuter options, and adoption. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our community has killed thousands of innocent dogs and puppies because of their appearance.  Thanks to an outcry from the citizens of Lucas County, this senseless slaughter has ended.  Dogs are individuals and should be treated as such.

This change in philosophy requires a community wide educational campaign to promote the successful transition from fear and ignorance to understanding and acceptance.  The best educators in our community are the dogs themselves.  Thus the Pit Crew was born.

Meet Super Trooper!
This little guy is just a gorgeous brindle waiting to shine. Super Trooper came to us from the Lucas County Dog Warden. He has one of the worst cases of mange we have ever seen. While at the pound he won the hearts of all he met and continues to do so with us as well. Please consider donating to help this little guy continue to receive the veterinary care he needs.
